Hi!

It’s time for another blog hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world who are part of Kylie’s Demonstrator Training group.

The card I’m sharing today is one I’ll be teaching in an upcoming class which focuses on the Vibrant Vases stamp set.

This card incorporates an easy technique to use with embossing folders, and especially 3D Dynamic embossing folders.

As I was going to use Blushing Bride cardstock, I first inked up the embossing folder in Blushing Bride ink, by swiping the stamp pad over one side of the folder. Then I lightly spritzed the cardstock with water and placed it inside the folder and ran it through the Big Shot.

This gives a lovely two-toned effect in the embossing.

The vase and flowers were stamped with Memento black ink on Whisper White and then die cut with one of the circles in the Stitched Shapes dies set. I die cut a slightly larger scalloped circle in Basic Black for the mat.

I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the vase and flowers and glued the circle to the scalloped circle.

I decided not to use a sentiment on the card, so it can be used for a birthday, thank you or any occasion.

A pretty feminine card that is easy to make, which is what I like.

I hope you enjoy hopping around today and be inspired by all the lovely ideas everyone is sharing. Here is the list:
