Today’s card is another in my series using the cute and fun This Little Piggy stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
In yesterday’s post I created a card for the Paper Players Sketch Challenge #359, today I’m using another of the watercoloured pig images for CAS Colours & Sketches Double Challenge #238.
Here is the challenge image:
The colours I used are close to the retired colours in the challenge.
For the vertical stripe I chose to use the wide washi tape from the Pick a Pattern Washi Tape set. I stamped the pig image onto Watercolour Paper using Archival Black ink, and coloured it in using an Aqua Painter and ink pads swiped onto a craft sheet.
The sentiment is from the same set and is actually part of another pig image stamp. I chose to use a black brush marker to ink the rubber and stamp the greeting on the card. It’s hard to see in the photo but I also stamped a few pig foot prints near the greeting in Versamark ink, which gave a very subtle watermark.
Here are the supplies used to create this card. If you’d like to purchase anything, please click on the image and you will be taken directly to my online shop.
