Today’s card was one showed by Tamara at our recent get-together, with the original idea by Sandi MacIver.
To make this card I swiped an Embossing Buddy over the panel of Berry Burst cardstock to remove static. Then I inked up the large floral image from the Wood Words stamp set with Versamark ink and stamped the image twice. I sprinkled White Embossing Powder over the image and heat set it with a Heat Tool. I then sponged the edges in Berry Burst ink using a dauber.
To save us a bit of time, Tamara had precut the white scalloped strip, and had stamped the same image on another piece of Berry Burst cardstock in Versamark ink, embossed in White Embossing Powder, and die cut 3 hearts from it using the die in the Wood Crate Framlits dies.
The white scalloped strip was attached to the stamped panel, then Burlap Ribbon was wrapped around it before attaching the panel to the Berry Burst card front. The hearts were attached to the Burlap Ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the greeting on a scrap of Whisper White using Versamark ink, then used Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it with a Heat Tool. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front, just above the white scalloped strip. The greeting panel was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here are the supplies I used to make this card, if you’d like to purchase any, please click on the image and you will be taken to my online shop.
