Today’s card has been inspired by cards I’ve seen on Pinterest using the fun Crafting Forever stamp set.
The card base is one of the gorgeous new colours from Stampin’ Up! called Berry Burst. It’s become my favourite colour from the 2017-19 collection.
I stamped the pens on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. It’s an image of 3 pens, which I stamped repeatedly along in a line, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used a Berry Burst and a Powder Pink brush marker to colour in the striped pen. The stamped piece is then matted onto Basic Black cardstock.
The sentiment is from the versatile Flourishing Phrases stamp set, and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White and then matted onto Basic Black cardstock. I used foam Dimensionals to mount the greeting onto the card front.
A simple card that can easily be coloured with any colour to get a different effect.
