I’m fortunate to have a separate Studio for my stamping and scrapbooking. It’s located to the side of my house and is about 20′ x 16′ (I think, from memory). This is where I run my scrapbooking workshops and card making classes.

Over the years I’ve accumulated a lot of stuff, and it’s time to reorganise it so I can get to what I want and make it work more efficiently. A while ago I bought 2 new Expedit shelving units from IKEA, and my husband found time to put one together for me a couple of days ago.

Here is the before area that needs organising – my stamping stuff is piled on a table against the wall, and under the table is stuff I don’t use much. I have my paper in 5 expanding files – some are hidden as they are towards the back of the table, and they are hard to get to. The wicker basket contains my retired stuff, it sits on a set of drawers that contain some old stamps and stamp pads. My Big Shot Doctors bag (containing my Big Shot) sits on a couple of boxes that contain dies and embossing folders.

Anyway, here’s the next stage (taken at night).

Will everything fit in it? No, but I want to use this for all the things I use regularly, and then get rid of the stuff I don’t use.

I have another Expedit unit waiting to be assembled, which will be used for lots of scrapbooking stuff.

When I have made more progress I’ll show you some more photos of my Studio…
