An acronym often heard in the cardmaking and scrapbooking community is “CASE”, which stands for “Copy and Share Everything”, or “Copy and Steal Everything”. In this instance, I’m actually basing cards on something I’ve made previously.
This is another version of a card I did earlier in the year, which you can see in this post. The variation being that I’ve added another colour of cardstock, Apricot Appeal, as a mat. The vertical panel has been changed from Whisper White on the original card to Tempting Turquoise, and a white gel pen has been used to add on the flowers which have been stamped in Versamark.
I had a few card kits left for these basic cards, the originals of which can be seen in this earlier post. I use the card kits to demonstrate simple card techniques at stamping parties. As both Petal Prints and Artfully Asian stamp sets are now unavailable, I decided to use Heartfelt Thanks, which is an oldie but a goodie, and still current.
So don’t worry if you want to make a card like one from a blog or a magazine, and you don’t have the same stamp sets – just use what you have and you can come up with a nice variation.
