Hi,
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Today I thought I would share my first Christmas card I’ve made for 2020. Is it too early to start making Christmas cards? I always try to start early so I have enough to give or send by December. I quite often end up in a rush near the end, and sometimes a few people miss out!

I’ve used the gorgeous dies from the Dove of Hope bundle in the new August – December 2020 mini catalogue from Stampin’ Up! The sentiment is also from the bundle.
You can’t see it in the photo but I’ve used my Wink of Stella glitter brush on the dove. On the smaller Pretty Peacock panel I used a sponge dauber to heavily apply Pretty Peacock ink to the edges to darken them to make it stand out from the card base of the same colour. I flicked Frost White Shimmer Paint onto the panel with a paint brush to add texture. I also lightly sponged Old Olive ink around the olive sprig. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
This card is similar to one in the catalogue, I’ve used the same colours, but I’ve put the feature panel on an angle instead of straight. I usually like my cards straight, but this appealed to me.
Here are the supplies I used to make this card. The Dove of Hope bundle will be available from August 4 in my online shop, but all of the other supplies are available now. Just click on the images below to go to my online shop.
Happy Stamping,
Tina
