Hi!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, for my 3rd post in my series on stamp sets and dies that are retiring from the Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.

These cards were for a class I taught in January 2017 using the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away dies.

For the first card I stamped and die cut the balloons and clouds from the set, and the background piece was cut using the edge die from the Detailed Floral die set (also retiring).

This card was my favourite from the set of 3 that we made, using the detailed balloon die and pieces to go behind the overlay piece.

The sentiment was stamped onto Vellum using Stazon and the vellum was wrapped around the matted front panel. The blue panel was embossed with the Seaside embossing folder, which is also retiring.

This last card was the quickest to make, and used some of the coordinating patterned paper from a Sale-a-Bration pack that year. A monochromatic card of Navy and White.

Here’s another card that my good friend Tamara showed us how to make at one of our monthly get-togethers that year. Using some more of that same paper, this is a fancy fold concertina card.

I thought it turned out rather well, don’t you think?

Here are some of the supplies used to make these cards. If you’d like to purchase any, just click on the image and you will be taken to my online shop.
