I’ve been looking at the list of goodies on sale for this week only, and thought I would give you some more details about a couple of the kits.
I’ve made up cards from the Lots of Happy and Soft Sayings card kits.
Here is a photo of the cards in the Lots of Happy card kit.
I made them up more or less according to the instructions, and using the Watercolor Pencils that come in the kit to colour in the images.
The kit has 4 sets of each card, so I decided to do a variation, using some Stampin’ Blends to colour in the images.
I also changed the sentiments around for one of the cards. You can change it up even more if you like.
This kit is all inclusive, which means it contains the stamp set, a clear block, a mini ink pad, watercolour pencils, foam Stampin’ Dimensionals, ribbon and vellum leaves, and envelopes to match. It is great as a starter kit for someone just learning stamping, and makes a great gift.

The Soft Sayings Card Kit also makes 20 cards, but this time you make 2 of each of 10 designs.
With this kit I decided to just use a couple of my favourite sentiments from the included stamp set, and change it up a bit. I’ve been sending these as thank you cards for customer orders, so you may have received one.
Some of the die cuts are made from glimmer paper, and add are lovely and sparkly. The photo really doesn’t do them justice.
This kit is even easier to make up than the Lots of Happy card kit as there’s no colouring in to do, only stamping. The stamp set has some nice floral line images that you can use on other cards as well.
I enjoyed making up these cards, as they are different to what I normally do, and I don’t have to think too much!
