It’s been a while since I posted, so I’m going to be doing a catch up over the next couple of weeks. Fortunately I’ve made lots of cards recently, so I won’t run out of card ideas for you anytime soon!
Here are 3 cards we made in a card class back in early September. The stamp sets have cute images of kittens and puppies that you can colour in with your favourite medium.
For the cute kitten with the butterfly I stamped the image onto watercolour paper using Archival Black ink. I then scribbled our Stampin’ Write brush markers to scribble colour onto a craft sheet, and used my Aqua Painter to pick up the colours and apply to the image.
For the puppy with the balloon I used our Watercolour Pencils to colour in the image, then went over with a Blender Pen to smooth the colour a little. I stamped this one on Whisper White as I wasn’t going to be using a lot of water.
For the last card with the cute kitten and puppy I stamped them with Archival Basic Gray ink onto Shimmery White cardstock, which can handle watercolouring with an Aqua Painter.
I think it would be interesting to do these cards again using our brand new alcohol markers, Stampin’ Blends, which will be available from November 1. What do you think?
Here are the supplies I used to make these cards. If you wish to order any, please click on the image and you will be taken directly to my online shop.
