Hi there,
Over the next week I’ll be sharing some of the paper flowers I’ve been making, and showing closer photos of the different types of flowers from my earlier photo of the Bunch of Paper Flowers.
These are Azaleas. I got the idea for these from a fabulous paper flower making book I purchased at a craft fair. I tried to use just Stampin Up punches and dies, but the flower centres are a bit different from anything in the Stampin Up range, so I used an old punch I had in my stash.
Stampin Up punches and dies used:
- 5 Petal flower punch (retiring 31 August 2012)
- Blossom punch (125603)
- Blossom Petals Builder punch (121808)
- Fun Flowers Bigz L die (121812)
The big one on the right uses one of the larger flowers from the Fun Flowers die, and the larger shape from the Blossom Petals Builder punch.
What do you think? Do they look like azaleas? Feel free to comment below.
Tomorrow I’ll be showing you the Chrysanthemums I made.
